A few weeks ago someone (I forget who you are! ) told me about the Ashley Stewart strapless butterfly bra. While some of you might cringe at a $40 price tag, I am quite used to paying a significant chunk of change in exchange for having a bra that keeps the girls from wandering off. So after looking over the strapless bra (wide bands! two bands in back! colored and clear straps that work six different ways!), I plunked down the money for it.

I’ve always had issues with strapless bras. Either I was constantly tugging them up in the front, or pushing them down to keep the molded bottom against my body, or yanking up the narrow band in the back or even unrolling it. For several summers now I’ve worn a halter top maybe once because I couldn’t stand the hassle of dealing with a pain in the ass strapless bra. On my birthday this year I wore a regular strapless bra and used bobby pins to keep it up and the halter top in line with it. It was a pain. As soon as I got home I ripped that bad boy off and was quite tempted to burn it.
I’m wearing the Ashley Stewart strapless butterfly bra right now, and I LOVE it. It fits, and let me tell you, with the wide bands and double bands in back that overlap one another, this bad boy is NOT going anywhere. I can’t expand my lungs to their full capacity, but as long as I don’t need to run or scream or be at risk of hyperventilating, that shouldn’t be a big issue. ;)
There’s just one downside to this bra: there’s no way I can get in and out of it myself. When I first tried it on yesterday I had my mom hook and position the backs, and today Dan did it for me. He’s working tonight, so it looks like I’ll be in this sucker until sometime around 3am!

I could never imagine having big boobs! I find my 34Bs annoying enough lol.
I’m glad that you’ve found a nice bra though, the models photo of it is really nice
I hate strapless bra’s too and I’m only an A cup. Whenever I wear a strapless bra, it always wants to fall down and I have to keep adjusting/pulling it back up.

I’ve yet to find a strapless bra in my size period. (sigh) I hate having big boobs, they’re such a pain in the ass. The bra sounds like a great one to have, but right now, $40 is way more than I can afford to spend on one. LOL

omg! I saw these advertised on tv last week and forgot about them! I was wondering if they were really comfortable because I can’t find a comfy anything bra. -.- I’m gonna go check out the site.
I paid $96 for a bra only to find when i got it, it was a piece of crap and killed me. -.-
Wow. -.- They don’t even go up to my cup size. It’s SO maddening to find my cup size.

$40 for a bra is about normal for me, heh. i’m a really annoying size (10 DD) which is impossible to find, since all the big cup sizes are usually 16+ since i guess they don’t think thinner people can have big bewbs? grr.

I’m bummed. It doesn’t come in my size. (34DDD/G)
Anyway, $40 for a bra isn’t too bad. My current everyday bra (which is convertible to fit with racerback tops) cost me a whopping $75. That’s because it’s from France and comes in my hard-to-find size. lol.

And here I am biatching about my 38D’s. But strapless are a pain in the ass. For me, it strapless bras is like if I’m wearing nothing at all. No support of any kind. However, I find BALI bras are ok. I forget whch model but I know how they look like. The lift and support is is decent. But, after 4 months, get a new one. I just hate boobs. :grumpy:
That looks like a nice bra. I love the design.
I commented/told you about that bra. LOL I didn’t have that trouble, but maybe if you put the bra backwards and hook the top ones, then twist the whole bra around to it’s correct position, put your arms through and then hook the last ones.
The just my size bras are really good too.
you and me chatted about it on IM. I think we chatted as you placed the order. I really want one but I dont know if the sizes they have are going to fit me . glad u like it though
Twas me
Oh yeah, I wanted to add a few things…
