Alyssa has had a busy week. She stayed at my mom’s house last Saturday night until Wednesday afternoon, and then she went to Dan’s brothers’ apartment on Friday night. It was very, VERY quiet without her, but a weird quiet. I’m so used to her chatter that not having her around and a steady stream of words aimed in my general direction made me do a double take every now and again.
To say that Alyssa had a good time with Dan’s brothers is an understatement. She drove them nuts, I’m sure, and definitely had them both wrapped around her little finger and doing everything that she wanted them to do/let her do.
I’m pretty sure I’m the only one that Alyssa doesn’t manipulate in that manner. ;) Dan? His brothers? My mom? Jason? Forget it, she’s got them all whipped!

It’s because she’s so cute! I’ve been reading you for 4 or 5 years now and it’s amazing to see how fast they grow up. I remember when they weren’t even born. How weird is that… I’m just a stranger but it’s interesting to see other people’s lives. Both of your children really are super cute.

When I see pictures of her I remember how fast my little one is growing up as well. I remember first reading your blog when my daughter was just born, and Alyssa was a newborn as well. It’s crazy how fast they grow.
I think if I new Alyssa she’d have me wrapped around her little finger as well. She is just too darn cute!
