I’m excited. I’ve got lots of stuff to blog about, but with my thoughts being scattered all over the place and there just being so MUCH to blabber on about, I don’t know what to talk about first.
Pug. Yes, I’m getting a pug. Surely you all know that by now. ;) I’ll be picking her up sometime this coming week. Right now I’m focusing on drowning myself in information on house training, and compiling a list of supplies to buy (so far: indoor wireless electronic fencing*, crate, soft pillow/towel bed, bowls, food, treats, toys (and MORE TOYS, as Jenn so helpfully suggested on Twitter) and grooming supplies).
Laptop. Um… I’m getting a new laptop. HP, of course. 15.4″ widescreen hi-def screen, AMD 2.2GHz dual-core processor, 3GB DDR2 ram, 160GB hard drive, integrated webcam, etc., etc. It’s supposed to ship by the 15th. *squeal*
Cell phone. Dan and I are dorks and we now have his and her cell phones. My mom, for whatever reason, decided to upgrade to the T-Mobile Wing. Nevermind that she barely uses the T-Mobile Dash I bought for her last October (50% of the time she forgets to bring it out with her; half of the other 50% she forgets to charge it or turn it on), or that when she did use it she never did anything on it besides phone calls (talk about a waste of $300; a $20 Nokia would have been perfect :rolleyes: ). Oh well. Her loss (in terms of a huge bill heh), my gain, because she gave me her Dash (like new, obviously) and all its accessories to give to Dan. Before he always said he didn’t need such a fucking awesome feature-packed phone, but now that he’s had it? Oh hai internet, email, IMing, Twitter, downloads, custom ringtones made from Ringtone Chop Shop! He’s in LOVE! :heart:
Websites! I got an invite to bedposted.com, and it is AWESOME. I’m also a member of mon.thly.info, and I never thought periods could be so cute until now.
I think that about covers it. PUG PUG PUG OMG PUG, LAPTOP LAPTOP LAPTOP YAY, adorable awesome websites that I’ll take screenshots of soon, and work. Lots of work. Speaking of which, I need to get back to typing!
*Until the pug is 100% housebroken, the living room, which our kitchen opens to, will be off-limits to her, except when she is in the company of one of us. In that event, to eliminate confusion, I’ll make a show of taking off her collar, so that she sees the difference: collar on = NO LIVING ROOM; collar off = LIVING ROOM IS OKAY!
P.S. Holy shit I am WAY too hyper for 2:30am!
What type of food are you looking at getting her? My I suggest Nature’s Recipe or Natural Choice… its cheaper than like science diet or IAMS but also is easy on their digestive system and overall health. :D
Man… new electronics are like Christmas any time of the year. I’m jealous.

Yay for the Pug! When I first read about it and how you talked about being a cat-lover, I just nodded my head and was like, “Dude I am so with you on that!” I’m totally a cat person just like you, but I’d love to have a dog someday. I want to get a weiner dog and name him Big. When I go to the vet and they ask his name, it’ll make them giggle. ;)
And I totally want to try out the Bedpost thing, if anything to say, “Hey! Boyfriend! More sex!” LOL!
