Make that $1400 worth of work sitting in my inbox, staring at me, glaring at me, taunting me with its dollar signs. That’s plenty of heat to get us through fall, winter and early spring, with plenty left over for cooking, and maybe even some to keep us cozy for the fall of 2009. That is also new tires for the car, car insurance renewal, and a nice chunk of spending money for Dan. Then there’s next week’s payday, thank you very much PayU2Blog, which Dan and I will use for going to the Renaissance Faire!
October is going to be nuts I tell you. NUTS. Saturday — going to visit with my thirteen year old brother. Sunday — going to visit with my ten year old brother. Next Saturday — Field of Screams (or is it Jason’s Woods? I’ll have to ask Dan/wait for him to comment here to correct me) for a Guitar Hero competition. Next Sunday — Renaissance Faire! October 25th — family bon fire. October 26th — Alyssa’s birthday party.
Whew.
I’m still quite sick. Not as fuzzy or heavy feeling, but scratchy throat, cough, stuffed up, etc. Nyquil knocked me flat by 2:30am Thursday night/Friday morning, and when I got up this morning I still felt pretty blech. the kids were up late, so thankfully they slept late. I dragged my sluggish ass out of bed, let Leah out, killed time doing laundry and straightening up, then went back to bed with the dog and a book (How Starbucks Saved My Life; so far it’s a good read) for another hour and a half.
Alyssa has settled on a Halloween costume. First it was Hello Kitty, then it was a monkey, then it was candy corn, now it’s confirmed: a witch. Typical, but she’ll make quite the adorable witch in this costume (with sparkling black tights to match!). I can’t wait to get her dressed up and out to the park to take photographs. Now we need to find a good costume for Bean. We already have pumpkins/candy bags and pumpkin flashlights and those glowing/flashing necklaces, so costume aside we’re ready to go for Halloween!
I’ve been playing around with the webcam on my notebook. Not too flashy, no built-in flash which would have been very nice for dim shots, but overall it isn’t too bad for an integrated cam.

Loving this new layout!! Especially the colors
Can’t wait to see Alyssa in her costume!

I hope you are able to get some work done. I know you have been quite busy, though.
That costume is adorable! :D
I hope you are able to get some work done
.
My kids still haven’t decided what they want to be this year. I guess I am going to go check out the new costume store and see what they have…

Awww that costume is adorable!
Aww, the puppy is already part of the family!
If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of work do you get sent to your inbox? Do you blog for various companies or something? Just curious.. I’d love to be able to make that much from home (as all of us would).

Holy writing work.. Damn. I hope you can get a decent amount of that done soon.
Ooo Jenn! When you go to the Reinassance Faire, you HAVE to go see Barely Balanced’s show, they are the best! (Not to mention that Cameron is the hottest guy in the world). They’re my first reason to go to the Ren Faire (the second is their delicious ice creams and oooh all the fairies!) :hmm:

My kids are still deciding what they want to be for Halloween. I wanted to put the little one in a skunk costume. I cant wait to see Alyssa in her costume and Ryan too. I would love to go to a Renaissance faire but we haven’t had any close to us. we might go to medeival times though so that is the next best thing. I also wanted to tell you that I love your layout.
I can feel my cold coming on. It always happens when the weather changes, it never fails. The witch costume looks so cute. Tyler keeps changing his mind. He’s had ideas since at least April or May, so I’m going to try and wait to get his as late as I can, so he’s not disappointed, lol. I miss being able to pick out his costume.
Now all he wants is Power Rangers and other action heros.
Very cute webcam pic– but where’s DAN?
I wish I could make that kind of money from home too, but I don’t like the idea of putting paid posts on my blog– only because I don’t update very often so my blog would be all advertisement. Tear.
Alyssa’s costume is cayoot! I don’t have kids to dress up, but I have a lil puggy to dress up – he’s gonna be a cop (pup patrol lol)!

*Sigh* I miss Field of Screams and Jason’s Woods. We’d drive out to both every season from Philly just to go. Can’t find a decent haunt around here to save our lives!

I love Field of Screams. I went a couple of years ago and had a great time. My favorite was the haunted hayride. I might be going again this year, I hope.
A Renaissance Faire! I’m jealous, there’s never anything like that happening around where I live.
But that’s a really cute costume that Alyssa decided on.
