Is he looking at porn?

Why yes, yes he is. “He” being my husband, and most likely the husband of any wife who is asked this question. But for the most part, a guy looking at porn isn’t a big deal. So long as it doesn’t involve children, animals or anyone who is not fully consenting, I say go for it. It’s when children are exposed to ANY type of pornography that I get concerned. Very concerned.

The internet can expose a child to pornography all too easily. And for older children and any child who knows anything about the internet and how to cover their tracks, it can be too easy to hide the obvious traces of porn — history, address bar entries, search engine queries, etc.

SurfRecon is a program that can help you to detect porn. While filters will block access to porn sites, they can often be bypassed. If this happens, SurfRecon can pick up on traces of porn. Scanners help to detect images and other saved information from other pornographic websites. You can use this program to know for sure what your kids are up to.

I remember my Dad had something that would search the computer for anything porn related. Like i had a photo titled “Mistress 9″ which was an anime photo of Sailor Moon (which is what that particular form was called) and it picked that up. My brother however was GUILTY of everything else on that list.

I agree with what you said about it’s all fine and dandy if it doesn’t involve anyone underage or animals. Some people are completely against porn, which I can understand, but guys will be guys, and you can’t change someone simply by telling them it’s ‘bad’.

I agree to an extent. Of course young children shouldn’t be watching porn, but I think after a certain age, as long as it’s not harming anyone, it really isn’t all that big of a deal. Most teens will be watching porn at about 15/16 years of age, and really, what is the harm in that? Kids have SEX at that age.

Guys will be guys. Just keep aware that when Ryan’s about 16 you may be dealing with this all over again. :P

As long as it doesn’t cause any problems with the couple and it doesn’t involve children I don’t see anything wrong with porn as long as it is done in moderation. I use to hate it, despise it when my husband would watch it (even though I found nothing wrong with myself watching it). I thought that he watched it cause I wasn’t good enough for him or that I was lacking something. But once I got past it and my self esteem started to raise I found that it no longer bothered me. I know now that guys watching porn reflects nothing on my self worth. And I must say, I enjoy porn just as much as guys do.
