buy.com’s weekly sale age always makes me drool. Not that I need any electronics right now. With a desktop, a laptop, three printers, external hard drive, Nikon DSLR, and various accessories for all of the above mentioned items, the last thing I need is yet another electronic item to take up space and suck up electricity.
But… Christmas is coming! And Jenn is being a VERY good girl this year by planning ahead and shopping early. Can you believe I’ve already purchased a Christmas present? It’s for my thirteen year old brother. I won’t say what it is, since he does hop on my blog every now and again, but I will say that it’s a non-electronic (something Dan definitely approves of, lol) and it’s something he’ll love.
But back to buy.com, since I have two brothers-in-law and a geek gamer husband to pick out Christmas presents for. There’s also my mom and Jason, but I’m waiting on some more ideas from them before I commit to any specific item.
Crap. I lied about ME not needing any more electronics. My desktop monitor died last month — I’m currently using my grandfather’s 17″ LCD, and this ViewSonic Optiquest 22″ LCD monitor is looking quite yummy. Jason, our spiffy network admin friend, played around with our home network and suggested we get a switch to hook in the PS3 and my wireless print server (even though it’s wireless, it’s quite buggy
), so now I’ve got my eye on the Netgear switch. $36 with free shipping is a great deal; we found it for $50 + shipping on other websites.
While I’m on the subject of electronics and Christmas… what’s on your Christmas wishlist?

I have an Acer 19″ that I’m in love with i use everyday. It’s Amaaaaaazing. I want a new P&S camera for XMAS actually. I’m thinking a Canon. My mom is probably going to buy it for me and then? Welllllllllllll, I’ve got Randy so I’m happy.

Whoa beautiful monitor. You’re smart for starting to think about Christmas early, in my opinion. :D
Caitlin´s last blog entry: Special Education experiences
My wishlist contains a digital camera, a PS3, and more books (not that I need more books lol).

I’m thinking about it but have no idea what to get anyone who is on my list.
