Ryan is being a piece of candy corn for Halloween. The costume is fabric with a plush outside, white, yellow and orange. Naturally, the clothing Ryan wears underneath should be white, since the costume shows his arms and legs. Well, finding a white shirt wasn’t a problem — I quickly found a white turtleneck at Target. But finding white pants was another story. White sweat pants, white pants, white leggings… I couldn’t find a single thing white. So in the end, I made do with what I had available and put a pair of Alyssa’s white cable-knit tights on him.
I thought nobody would notice, but Jason pointed out on MSN that my little guy needs to man up and stop wearing girls’ tights.

Damn straight, your son needs to man up
hasn’t jason seen ‘robin hood men in tights’?
we’re men! men in tights… ?
*giggles*
They both look so cute!
You know, I had the same problem last year when my baby was dressed as a pumpkin and I couldn’t find green pants!

I think it looks fine! It’s glaringly obvious that he’s dressed in a costume, and not wearing tights as part of his actual clothes!
