Alyssa’s fourth birthday party was on Saturday at 1pm. Everyone we invited came, including my mother’s next door neighbor’s six year old son and almost-four year old daughter. The three kids ran around and had fun, though they were mostly exploring Alyssa’s and Ryan’s bedrooms and pulling out all of their toys, while Alyssa was being her typical social butterfly self with all of us. The theme was Hello Kitty, in case the pictures didn’t do a good enough job of demonstrating that glaring fact:
The party was great. The food was good (pizza; we wanted to keep things simple this year), the cake was delicious (as always), Alyssa enjoyed all of her presents (bike, clothes, play princess accessories and makeup, lots of Hello Kitty stuff), and everyone enjoyed socializing with one another.
