Last week I called the customer service department regarding a product I had purchased. They were attentive to my problem with the product (a defect; one of the battery’s metal prong holders had snapped off, making it impossible to keep a battery in place), and quick to ship out a replacement. Better yet, I was given a ship date of 8-10 business days, but the replacement was at my front door two days later!
Anyway, I just finished completing a quick customer satisfaction survey the company sent me. A lot of companies take advantage of Survey Software in order to generate surveys for use with current customers, or even to scope out the general market. I find myself taking surveys fairly often, both for market research purposes, and to give feedback to the companies whose products and services I use. Needless to say, conducting surveys is a great way for a company to know what their customers want, and how to serve them better.
