Robert Pattison? Fucking hot. I admit it, I loved the Twilight movie. My mom and I got to the theater an hour before the movie started, and the theater was already half full of squealing, shrieky, chatty teenage girls, their bored, eye-rolling boyfriends (I admit, if I had dragged Dan along he would have been rolling his eyes right there with them!), a few twenty-somethings like myself, and the occasional bored, resigned mother. A lot of people were wearing Twilight t-shirts, and a few dumb girls showed up in goth and witch costumes. WTF? It’s Twilight, not Harry Potter or some movie about goths and witches.
When the movie started, the little teenyboppers started squealing when Jacob came on screen. When Edward first debuted, the squealing turned to shrieking. Once it died down, some guy yelled “Oh my god!” in a valleygirl-ish voice. Too funny.
So yeah, the movie? I loved it. Edward Cullen? I want in his pants. Rawr. (Oh yeah — the bad vampire? James? I kind of want in his pants, too!)
And I promise, no spoilers.
Although I will say that there were a few inconsistencies, and one thing they threw in that wasn’t in the book at all annoyed me, but other than that the movie was fantastic. I want to go see it again! Maybe Danielle and Matt would be interested in going with me when they come down for the 5th, 6th and 7th of December. *hint hint, nudge nudge*
P.S. It snooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwed! I saw flurries when we left the theater at 2am, and by the time I was driving home at 4am it was sticking. This afternoon I looked outside, and there was 1-2 inches on the ground. W00t!
P.P.S. We’re having dinner with Dan’s aunt and uncle tonight. I hope the roads aren’t too slick!

Twilight was amazing
There were a few inconsistencies, like you said, but overall it was a great movie. Definitely true to the book.
Yeah, both James and Edward are hot. I had to deal with teenies at my theater too, but I guess it just comes with a good movie.
It snowed here too. Bleh. I don’t like it.
It snowed here too, pretty good in fact. I heard that up in Southern Indiana they are getting 10 inches tonight. Wow! We’re just getting the 13 degree weather. Sucks. If it’s going to be cold it might as well snow!
I’ll have to wait until Twilight comes out on DVD to see it. There’s no way I’ll drag Kevin there to watch it.
I’m glad you liked it. I’m thinking about seeing it when it comes out on DVD. That way if I end up hating it I can just turn it off without a wasted trip to the theater, and if I love it then I will joyfully eat my words and watch it again. lol.

I loved it. I really did. I agree there were inconsistencies, and there were some moments that were not in the movie that I loved from the book, but overall, I thought it was excellent. Very few movies translate from the books to a t, so I wasn’t expecting it to be spot on.
I’m pretty sure I know what they put in that wasn’t in the book, since I saw a preview clip that had something that DEFINITELY was not in the book. (And interestingly enough, that I thought SHOULD have been in it. LOL) But I won’t mention it here.

Just to let you know that its official Summit has announced that New Moon will be turned into a movie
I liked it also. I mean there are things that I would change… and some things that I think could have been better.. But I liked it. I love Edward. Team Edward, ftw. That’s for sure.
Ehhh, I don’t see what the hype is. Then again, I was never a fan of Harry Potter either, and in my eyes, the two are one in the same (demographic-wise).
I really don’t know much about the books or story, but I was introduced during my senior year of high school by a sophomore I was trying to bang. She was OBSESSED with the books, and turned out to be even crazier when it came to her relationships so every time I see that damn photo of those hands holding a fucking apple I can’t help but shudder and try to avoid it all costs….But my sister really wants me to go see it with her, and I like Kristen Stewart a whole lot so *sigh* we’ll see.
Daytime showings are what make me happy about movie theaters. I refuse to go during the weekend, or really on a busy night. I cannot take people making all those stupid noises like it is a concert or something.
I haven’t read the books, so it’ll just be another vampire movie to me. I’ve heard so many bad reviews on the last book, I don’t think I would even want to put the energy into it. Although, Robert Pattinson may be worth the ticket price.

happiness!
Anyway.. I’ve been dying to watch the twilight movie.. but it’s not here in DR (dominican republic) still.. and I don’t want to watch it over the internet because the quality always sucks! grr, I know I’m going to be mad over all the new things the director put in the movie but eehh I still want to watch it x_x
I went Friday to the 7:10 showing and it was sold out. My husband and I waited in line for about 15 minutes but were were close to the front so we got good seats. There were a lot of teenage girls there (I even saw one with a “Team Jacob” shirt lol). For the most part, they were very well behaved and weren’t obnoxious at all. I was very surprised. My husband liked the movie more than he thought he would.

You are seriously making me so depressed that I was too sick to go! I really want to go see it now. I will have to drag the boyfriend to see it whether he likes it or not now. Heh. And I’m jealous of your snow, we never get snow so you’re very lucky. Take care.

I’m so jealous of you right now! We don’t get Twilight over here until the end of December.. I’m trying so hard to contain my excitement

I have to admit… I wasn’t a huge fan of it. Jacob needs to cut his hair, Nikki Reed was spot on once or twice, but not all the time, Stewart seemed like she was asleep half the time…
The funniest part: the most awful lines in to movie came straight from the book! LMFAO.
