The holiday season is here, and there are just three weeks left until Christmas! I don’t know about you, but I still have shopping to do. I need to get something for my mother, my ten year old brother, my brother-in-law, my sisters-in-law, Dan’s aunts and uncles, one more gift for Dan, and a few more things for Alyssa and Ryan.
Whew!
This year I’m doing a lot of shopping online. First I check out the weekly ads for Target, and see what products are being offered at what prices. Then I hit up price comparison sites to find the best online stores to buy things from. ShopWiki is a price comparison website that is UK-based (complete with UK currency listings), but works just like all of the other price comparison websites out there. With no paid ad placements, you have over 30,000 listed stores to browse through when yous earch for a particular item. Looking for a Playstation 3, for example, will bring up listings for the game system, accessories and various games, with average prices and a link to the stores that have those products available. You can also view ratings and read reviews, which may help you narrow your selection to a specific product, like the very popular Halo 3 wireless headset.

I would like to shop online, but aren’t you paying for shipping? Or are you finding deals to where it’s free or little cost? Although, I don’t have a lot of money for my kids, I would rather save the money for shipping this year.
I’ve done most of our Christmas shopping online this year. It’s so much easier and I hate dealing with the crowds, and rudeness, this time of year.
