We are so into Christmas this year, it isn’t even funny. I went to check on Alyssa last night, several hours after she went to bed, and this is how I found her:
I swear, when I put her to bed, she was NOT wearing that hat!
Anyway, I am on a ROLL this year with Christmas. Cards for family and friends went out in the mail yesterday. My ornament for the ornament swap at Lavish went out yesterday. Cards for the card swap at Lavish are going out tomorrow. This afternoon I ordered the gift that I’ll be giving to my draw from A Very Lavish Christmas 2008. Dan and I have about half of our Christmas gift shopping done, too.
And… did I mention that Alyssa’s bedroom window was decorated before thanksgiving? And that the rest of the house was done over the weekend? Oh, and our Christmas tree? IT’S UP!
This is so weird. I’m used to scrambling between the 12th and 18th of December to get all of the above mentioned things done. It’s pretty cool to have it all taken care of so early in the month. Now we can bask and relax for the rest of December. 
Of course, I took several dozen photos of the Christmas tree. This year’s theme was selected by yours truly. I’m definitely digging the pink, purple and gold.

Oooh I am already decorating my house a little bit – just need to find all those darn x-mas lights for indoor use. I keep finding our “outdoor ones”

Wow, you really are on a roll this Christmas! I’m one of those that waits til the last minute but I’m gonna make the boyfriend help me put up the tree tomorrow!
