…of my laptop bag!
11:30am: I get picked up and slung on the bed or sofa by my mistress. She’s not one to be gentle, despite the fact that I’m carrying and protecting an expensive laptop that contains priceless documents, emails and photos. I bet she wouldn’t bang me around so much if one of her kids were in here!
2:00pm: The little ankle-biters that delight in stepping on me are finally going to take a nap. This means I get shoved in a corner or under the sofa while my mistress putzes around the house. She’s got the housewife thing pretty mastered, though she could use some improvement with folding sheets.
3:00pm: Back out again, then tossed aside once she’s ripped the goods away from my lined, padded interior. Woman doesn’t know how good she has it. *grumble*
6:00pm: Mmm, I smell dinner. Oh wait, I also smell cat. When the mistress’s away, the cats will play… and lounge all over the top of me.
6:09pm: *cough* *yak* Hairball…
10:00pm: Hey, she’s back! The squealing ankle biters are in bed, so that means I don’t have to cringe every time I’m left unattended or unsupervised. I don’t think she’d be too happy with me if her laptop monitor got stomped on.
2:00am: I think she’s going to call it a night. Lights are going off. Hey… she forgot about me! Pfft, another night on the floor in the living room. How disgraceful!
