I hate being sick. Dan was sick with a Man Cold last week, and now I have it. When Dan was sick, he called off of work, slept in, laid around all day and got to relax. Me? Not so lucky. In fact, I was up until almost 5am this morning getting some work done, because I know that I won’t have a chance to do much of anything work-related until tomorrow night.
Danielle and Matt arrived around 6pm last night. We had dinner, I made dessert, and then we chillaxed with our laptops for several hours. Yes, we are quite geeky. Ryan was charming and entertaining, though I will admit that he was also pushing my buttons, trying to see how much he could get away with while we had guests over. He was more than ready for bed when he went to sleep last night, and I was more than ready to see him go!
Right now it’s just me and the Bean. Alyssa is spending the weekend with my mom (did I mention that last night? I don’t remember…), and Dan is working until 6pm. Danielle and Matt went out to check out the Strasburg Railroad and see if Thomas is there, and then they’re going to swing by Lane Bryant.
As for me, I’m counting down the minutes until it’s time for Ryan to take a nap. I’m very tired, and being sick doesn’t help! So I definitely plan on taking a nap this afternoon, especially since Danielle, Matt, Jason, Daniel and I have made plans to go out tonight, and we’re going to be out late: dinner, movie (Twilight for Danielle, Matt and I; Quantum of Solace for Daniel and Jason) and bowling!
