I woke up very tired and upset this morning, but even with everything going on with Dan and the car I haven’t forgotten about Christmas being only ELEVEN DAYS AWAY. Holy crap! It seemed like the beginning of December just dragged along. Now things are beginning to fly. Before I know it it’ll be Christmas Eve and I’ll probably still have a zillion things to do…gah.
Anyway, how are you guys doing with your Christmas shopping? As of last night, Dan and I are down to three aunts, one uncle, my grandfather, a joint gift for his sisters, one more item for Jason, and a few more things for Alyssa and Ryan. And, of course, stocking stuffers for the stockings we just bought yesterday. ;)
I have a few things in mind for my uncle-in-law. He’s really big on technology and gadgets, and I just know he would love something like the iRobot Roomba Vacuum. I saw it when I was looking over the sale ad at buy.com. That’s me, all right. Skip the diamonds and bling and bring on the gadgets!
Anyway, I think my husband’s uncle would definitely appreciate the iRobot Roomba Vacuum because, like I already said, he’s big on gadgets and technology. Second, he and his wife (Dan’s aunt, of course) have one big dog, several indoor/outdoor cats, and thanks to my sisters-in-law might be getting another cat or two, AND a puppy in the spring. And with all the hardwood floors in their house, you just know there’s cat and dog fur and dander floating around everywhere. A Roomba could easily take care of that.
For us, I don’t think a Roomba would work so well. I need a vacuum that can suck up crayons, dried Play-doh and shriveled Cheerios like there’s no tomorrow. ;)
