IZEA and K-Mart got together and held a $500 K-Mart gift card giveaway earlier this month. Six participating bloggers (dadomatic.com, 1938media.com, juliaroy.com, shoemoney.com, sparkplugging.com/momsational and shefinds.com) each promoted the contest on their blog, and a winner would be selected at random from the commenters of those blog entries.
The winners were selected today, AND GUESS WHO WAS ONE OF THEM!!!

To say I am excited is an understatement. My heart started racing, my face heated up, my fingers got cold, and my hands were shaking so badly I could barely type. Still, I managed to flood the chat pretty well. I called Dan while they were announcing the rest of the winners, and he hopped onto Ted Murphy’s ustream to congratulate me:
This seriously could not have come at a better time. Between Christmas and the $500 shelled out for new tires, and the work slump that is sure to begin by mid-January, the $500 K-Mart gift card will definitely be put to good use! I’m already imagining some of the things we’ll probably buy. I’m sure we’ll stock up on toilet paper, paper towels and other paper products, as well as household cleaning supplies. Maybe there’ll be a new iPod in there for Dan? Toys for the kids? Home decor? OOH THE POSSIBILITIES!
Again, thank you so much to IZEA and especially to K-Mart! Without them this never would have happened!!!

I screamed when I heard it. Ted said, I know her and I yelled Hey??? I know her too!!!! Kevin’s like what the hell is going on? I said Jenn won $500′s from Kmart. He went on like it was a common thing in this house.
Congrats Jenn. I say you spend it all on you since uhumm you didn’t wreck the car. And make sure you get the most expensive toilet paper, and use coupons so it goes further. LMAO!
