The line to get a picture with Santa was probably an hour long, which means we weren’t the only dumb asses to wait until the last damn minute to take our sproglets. Anyway, Alyssa was wonderful waiting in line with me, and Dan kept Ryan occupied by walking around the mall with him, and checking back periodically.
Unfortunately, Ryan’s good mood went AWOL as soon as I set him in Santa’s lap. He didn’t headbutt him, thank goodness, but he was definitely vocal with his displeasure (which caused Alyssa to lose her smile):
Oh well. Even though Alyssa and Ryan didn’t smile, the photo was still worth the $15 and 1hr+ wait.
Good news — FedEx called me earlier tonight to confirm that my $500 K-Mart gift card will be here by noon on Wednesday. Whoo hoo! Last minute Christmas shopping (on Christmas Eve of all days, god help me), here I come!

Heheh that photo is kind of cute anyway, even though neither of them are smiling.

It is a cute picture, and I love their outfits!
I was wondering if you could link to me? On a whim the other day I created my own dotcom blog: http://jessymessy.com. I decided it was time to branch out from vox =D

The photo is cute! I’m not even sure if Memphis is gonna get one this year.
Atleast they both sat on his lap, everytime I’ve been to the mall i’ve seen kids running from him.
I didn’t get Alyssa’s done this year, she wasn’t feeling well and I hated to drag her out. Maybe next year!

I like that Santa is holding a huge grin.

I think that’s a cute photo. Reminds me of the time we took Ethan (2 years ago) and they snapped the picture just before he was ready to cry. I ended up sending everyone a wallet size along with their card. At least they got a good laugh. Lol.
And good luck shopping on Christmas Eve. Last night Target was nuts. The lines were so long and stuff was thrown everywhere. I’m still dizzy from the whole experience.

That picture is priceless. Santa has the ‘please take the screaming kid away’ look on his face.
I contemplated taking my girls to see Santa, but they are both very impatient and don’t do well standing in long lines.
I didn’t realize exactly how much your children look alike until I saw this picture.
My little sister was always the one freaking out on Santa’s lap when we got our pictures taken. I’m not sure we have any pictures where her face isn’t red and her eyes aren’t swollen from crying… hah.
Merry Christmas!
ROFLMAO! That Santa is looking like – get these effin kids off of me!
OMG. I went out today and I was homicidal by the time I made it home. My sister works at Meijer and broke up FIVE fistfights today. People are RIDICULOUS.
We’ve yet to get my kids to take a photo with Santa. The only thing I can get them to do is my 4 yr old will give him high five and the little one will just wave. Other than that they won’t even think about sitting on his lap. In a few years, hopefully we can get them to sit for a good pic.
I think your santa is cuter than ours….Ours was a little rough around the edges this year.
