1.What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
I’m trying to think of something good. Hmm… I know! I got drunk.
2.Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yes and no. One resolution I failed on was doing an entire year of Flickr 365 Days. I’m going to try my best to get it done in 2009! I have a few resolutions in mind for 2009, and I hope I can stick to them.
3.Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4.Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5.What countries did you visit?
None. I don’t think I even left the state in 2008. Wait, scratch that… we were in Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey last June!
6.What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
One week without any drama. Just a week. Is that really too much to ask?
7.What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
September 18th, 2008. It was the day that the state took custody of my brothers.
8.What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Staying on top of things? Seriously, I’m constantly being pulled in a million different directions, so being able to keep my head above water is a good accomplishment, I think. Also, doing pretty well with working from home was also a great accomplishment this year!
9.What was your biggest failure?
Weight loss. I started off well, did okay through the summer, and then got off track in the fall. I haven’t gained, but I haven’t lost much, either. I’ve lost enough that some of my pants are loose and I had to tighten the bands on my bras, but that’s about it.

A few stomach bugs and one or two colds, but that’s it!
11.What was the best thing you bought?
Hands down, my laptop (a customized HP Pavilion dv5)
12.Whose behavior merited celebration?
Ryan’s. He has progressed so much in the past four months. He’s talking more, listening more, and for the most part, rocking less! And Dan gets a salute, too. He has been so good to me in terms of trying to help alleviate my stress and lessen my burdens whenever possible. Daniel, I love you so much. Thank you. ♥
13.Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My mother’s. It still does. :/

Going to the beach last June, Ryan’s birthday, our pool party, Alyssa’s birthday and Christmas.

Jesse McCartney’s Leavin’. Dorky, I know.

Sleep. I never get enough sleep, and I’m afraid that it’s starting to catch up to me.
19.What do you wish you’d done less of?
Driving and fighting with my mother. Both are physically and emotionally exhausting.
20.How will you be spending Christmas?
I’m pretty sure that question should be phrased in the past tense. Anyway, I spent Christmas with family, as I always do.
21.Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?
Hah, probably my mother.
22.Did you fall in love in 2008?
I fell even more in love with my husband many different times.

Third year in a row that I’m doing this meme, and I still don’t know what this question is asking!
41.Quote a song that sums up your year:
Pssh. I’m not one for songs.

As the domain name suggests, my name is Jenn, and I own this blog. I'm 26 years old and married to my one true ♥, Daniel. And while I have two kids (Alyssa is five, and Ryan is three), you won't find "mommy" in my username or email address, nor does my blog revolve around them. I'm a mother, but most importantly I am me, with a passion for love, blogging, reading, and photography. I'm also a busy freelance writer, web designer & SEO goddess.

I love this meme. I think I stole it from you one year! Hope your NYE is fun and you rock in the new year with friends and family, no fights this time!
