1. Getting cell phone service again. It took a bit of runaround and multiple SIM cards, but eventually I got the job done. Bring on the text messages!
2. Hello tax refund! It’s always nice to get a thousand or two back each February to have a bit of fun with.
3. Valentine’s Day. ♥ I had a little bit of drama going on, but Dan and I had a very nice evening together. Not that we need an excuse to reaffirm our love for one another, but it’s nice to have a reason to celebrate it “officially”.
4. Going on vacation. Our three day jaunt at the beach was so wonderful. We really needed it, too. The kids enjoyed themselves, and Daniel and I certainly enjoyed ourselves.
6. Pool party! I have always wanted to have a pool party, and it was so cool to go from throwing around the idea of having a pool party to planning one in a short amount of time. We had family and friends, and even though it was pretty chilly, especially when the sun went down, we had a great time.

8. Going to the Renaissance Faire with Daniel four our (belated) fourth wedding anniversary.
10. Christmas. Well, most of it.
Tax refund! I totally forgot that on my list haha. Well, I only got $500 back though (I didn’t work as much that year as I do now) and it was gone as soon as I got it (I had wrecked my car so I ended up getting a new one).
You guys have to wait until Feb to get a rebate?! We get it in next months paycheck! Must be nice to get a nice lump sum some point after the holidays though. I feel sad that I don’t think I could even last 10 things from 08 that was a “best moment”. Oh well, Roll on 2009 I say! Happy new year
