This morning, as I was staggering out of bed at 7:40am (no easy feat, since I didn’t get to sleep until almost 4am; thanks Dan!), I checked my email, and was pleasantly surprised to find out that I won the Sterling Pear Signature Ornament Box giveaway at blessednestperch.com! Add that to the $500 K-Mart gift card I won right before Christmas, a casserole dish I won earlier in December from thedomesticdiva.org, I’d say that I’m on a pretty good roll. I really should go play the lottery!
I was up really early today because I had to take my mom to an appointment for her foot. While I was in the x-ray room with her (after assuring the technician a bazillion times that no, I’m not pregnant, so feel free to zap x-ray rays in the general direction of my uterus), I was watching the tech try to find a vein to draw blood from, and it got me to thinking of my own veins, plasma donation, and other crap. And then I start humming Beyonce’s Irreplaceable, because it seems like the left side of my body is very good at producing fluids. My left eye almost never gets dry (my right one does on a near daily basis, which is why I always keep eye drops close at hand), my left arm has always been better for taking blood and plasma (Dan and I used to donate plasma twice a week when we lived in Pittsburgh. Hey, we were broke at the time and $50 per person per week was damn good money back then!), my left breast always produced a lot more milk than my right one, etc.
Yeah… I guess that’s the kind of stuff you start thinking about when you’re running on less than four hours of sleep.
See the bags under my eyes? They’re almost always there. I’m 24 years old, I should NOT have those kinds of bags!

Well, bags under your eyes is as common as dark circles under the eyes. It is ether worrying, or some sleep issues. Relax…try to pamper yourself soon.

I have the same problem, but mine are just as bad, if not worse. Can’t ever get rid of them, no matter how much sleep I get. Foundation is my best friend.
