Dan came home this evening and informed me to pack my bags, because we’re going to Pittsburgh tomorrow morning! I can’t begin to tell you guys how excited I am! Maybe I’ll just let the exclamation points do all of the talking for me!
Kidding. There may be a lot of exclamation! points! sprinkled throughout this blog entry, but I promise there will be actual words, too. You can rest assured that there is a decent words-to-exclamation-points ration going on here. ;)
So, Pittsburgh. Tomorrow! Until Sunday night! Maybe (big maybe) Monday night! Apparently Dan has been planning this for almost two months, and had everything taken care of except informing me. Until this evening, when he DID inform me, and I started squealing and hugging him and kissing him. 
I haven’t been to Pittsburgh since we left in December of 2003. Dan was back once, overnight, for a job interview in October of 2005, but that’s it.
I am very, very excited. I miss Pittsburgh. I really do. I loved that city so much, much more so than Philadelphia, which is where I grew up.
I am DEFINITELY looking forward to three days with Daniel in a hotel. We’re planning on bringing my laptop and his game systems, and a few other “goodies”, so we have plenty of things to do when we’re not exploring the city and taking loads of photos. ;)
I’ll probably blog again tomorrow night. Right now I need to get back to work… I have a LOT of work to do tonight, since it’s work I was originally going to be doing tonight and tomorrow. Oh well! :D
Oh, and we’re leaving at 8am, which means we have to be up at 7am. Ewwwwwwwww.

That is amazingly sweet of him! Though I have to say, I’m not such a fan of Pittsburgh simply because it’s such a BITCH of a city to drive in. Of course, I don’t drive, so… *shrug* Have fun! :D (PS. Sushi Kim’s is awesome.)
Aw, have fun! That’s so awesome he’s been planning it too without you knowing about it. Planning a trip is such an awesome surprise! I live about an hour from Pittsburgh in Ohio. I love eating at Primanti Brothers whenever I go there.
