We’re still in Pittsburgh, and we have been having a great time. We’ve been checking out all of our old haunts — where we used to live, where Dan went to school, where we worked, where we shopped, etc. Man, I forgot how crazy these Pittsburgh drivers are. You don’t GO the instant the light is green, they’re on you. Going only five miles under the speed limit? Get a move on, slow ass, before you get mowed down! Yeah… five years of relaxed, rural driving really made me ill-prepared for the insanity, keep-on-moving-at-least-20-miles-over-the-speed-limit driving that is Pittsburgh.
It’s so nice to have a few kid-free, work-free days. We have NEEDED this, for years. We slept so much the first night — twelve hours! And at least nine hours last night! Sex that isn’t scheduled between nap times and work schedules is quite nice, too. ;)
Anyway, we’re staying until tomorrow. We were originally going to come home tonight, but writing about Outer Banks rentals and doing a few other things enabled me to have enough extra funds to keep us here an extra night. Yay!

I don’t think I’ve been to Pittsburgh.I travelled by greyhound from NY to Portland ,OR and back again for a month.Don’t ask me why though,it seemed like a good idea at the time!! Have fun! I’m off to check out those photoies!
