I have known plenty of people that have 13-21 year old cats!!! 13 is normal, 21 is rare but awesome! Good news for you :biggrin: (Just make sure you research the health for his specific breed... you will want to take him to normal checkups to make sure he doesn't have cancers or kidney failure.) My sister lost her kitty (a fluffy siamese breed) to kidney failure... she was always having peepee accidents, not eating much, and losing her teeth. :cry: She was about 13 years old though. Actually, 9 years old is not so old!! I have known plenty of people that have 13-21 year old cats!!! 13 is normal, 21 is rare but awesome! Good news for you :biggrin:
