Out of nowhere Alyssa went over to my brother’s dry-erase board and wrote her name. First time ever!

My 2 yr old on the other hand knows all of his.. weird huh?
Sadly, you’re going to see next year that this is better than most of her classmates can learn to do in Kindergarten. She’s going to be a genius!!!!!! She’s already ahead of the curve with her drawing and writing than most of the others I see in Sydney’s class. Of course, Sydney is a genius as well. We must have just gotten the two most artsy kids!
Oh wow! That’s so cute. You must have been so happy to see that. I’ve been trying to teach my son how to write his name, but he hasn’t picked up on it yet. But he loves trying. It’s cute.
That is surprisingly neat for a child her age.My lad isn’t so neat with his handwriting, then again he is male –and hes’ only three!!
Well done !
Thats so awesome!! Chelsea tries to write her name but it generally comes out in binary; 010110 or something very similar. she recently developed the skill of drawing people. we have several drawings of the family hanging on our refrigerator

As the domain name suggests, my name is Jenn, and I own this blog. I'm 26 years old and married to my one true ♥, Daniel. And while I have two kids (Alyssa is five, and Ryan is three), you won't find "mommy" in my username or email address, nor does my blog revolve around them. I'm a mother, but most importantly I am me, with a passion for love, blogging, reading, and photography. I'm also a busy freelance writer, web designer & SEO goddess, and a blogger relations person for an adult toy company.

That’s very cute!
