My two year paid blogging anniversary was on January 27th, 2009. To say that I have made quite the living from blog marketing is an understatement. While I won’t name exact figures, I will tell you that in 2008, I made just a few thousand dollars shy of what Dan made for the year. Of course, I have to be fair and disclose that probably two thirds of that amount did not come from paid blogging, but from writing articles and other web content. However, I definitely got my start in paid blogging. If it weren’t for paid blogging and having the right advertisers find me through the companies I used, I wouldn’t be making anywhere near the amount that I am today.
Of course, if you have a few blogs, or even one or two high-ranking, high traffic blogs, and you’re devoted to blogging and retaining an audience, there is definitely good money to be made from doing paid blogging. I began with PayPerPost on January 27th, 2007, and last summer I hit the $10,000 mark. Not bad for a year and a half of writing, using multiple blogs, and even taking a break for a few months during the summer of 2007.
Anyway, the newest paid blogging company on the market is PayingPost. In fact, this is my first post that I am doing for their company. They seem quite promising, and the setup for opportunities is definitely appealing.
PayingPost works a lot like other paid blogging companies. Opportunities that your blog(s) is/are qualified for are presented to you, and you can view details of the opportunity — what you need to write about, how many words your post should include, what link(s) you need to include, and how much you’ll be paid — before reserving the opp. Once reserved, you have several hours to complete the opportunity.
However, unlike some of the other mainstream paid posting companies, PayingPost pays out once your account balance reaches $25 or more, rather than following a standard 30 day/bi-weekly pay period.

You are doing what a lot of women wish they could. I would just rather do it with ads, than doing paid posts. But it appears paid posts pay waaaay better.
Howdy its Amanda from Pajama Mommy awesome that you did so well its great that people are doing well on paying posts I always try to find new things to do. Finally got around to making a personal site, of which I linked you. so yay for me. but its great the only thing thats sucks about making a good leaving on blogging is paying the taxes at the end of the year. I owed over 2300 in taxes last year. Yuck
I have to admit, I am not a fan of paid blogging. I don’t mind ads quite as much. I’m glad you’ve made good money on it, though.
That doesn’t surprise me at.You’ve worked hard to earn that money though. I started the paid blogging in the middle of December-until last week I pocketed about $120ish.It’s sort of tailed of now though ,the pocket money is nice but honestly I am a bit bored with it!! I should have another $28 due in drips and drabs but I doubt I want to do anymore-Oh yeah I thought payingpost threshold was $50?
Wow, 10 000 half a year ago? Go Jenn! I just use paid blogging as a source of supplemental income (90% of it is my Etsy spending budget), so I am nowhere near that.
I am totally impressed! I’ve had some success with the paid blogging, but not much in terms of the writing web content and such. I think anyone who succeeds in online writing is impressive!

As the domain name suggests, my name is Jenn, and I own this blog. I'm 26 years old and married to my one true ♥, Daniel. And while I have two kids (Alyssa is five, and Ryan is three), you won't find "mommy" in my username or email address, nor does my blog revolve around them. I'm a mother, but most importantly I am me, with a passion for love, blogging, reading, and photography. I'm also a busy freelance writer, web designer & SEO goddess.

Far out! That’s an impressive amount! Look like paid blogging’s working really well! I don’t think I could do it, but if it works for you, why not!?
