I haven’t done much in the way of sponsored posting on jenn.nu for quite a while. A few months back PayU2Blog announced that it would no longer allow blogs that do posts with PayPerPost, so I cleaned up my other blogs (see sidebar) to keep with PayU2Blog, and reserved jenn.nu for PPP. Why? I’ve always been more selective with the sponsored content that is posted to jenn.nu. With PayU2Blog, you don’t have an option to deny or skip an assignment. You have to do it, and that’s that. With PPP, on the other hand, you can be as selective as you want. Case in point: I did a PPP sponsored post on jenn.nu for the first time in almost two months. And I only took it because a) I didn’t mind the subject, especially since I have used the services of the company and b) the payout would buy me a full tank of gas for my Kia. Sweet!
But I’ve been writing my ass off otherwise. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, project-wise. I started out with 39 projects. Every time I would turn in 1-3, I would get at least 5-6 more. It seemed like the work was endless. Now though, I’m down to fifteen. Fifteen! *squeal* Don’t get me wrong, I do hope I get more work as I get closer to being finished with these projects, but I really want to knock out the projects that have been sitting in my inbox since the end of January.
Dan’s birthday is coming up at the end of the month — his golden birthday! He’s turning 27 (ew, will I really be married to a 27 year old? ;) ) on the 27th, and I’m planning out a nice dinner, a little party here at home with family and friends, and a kick ass birthday gift that is going to knock his socks off. So in preparation for that I have really been knocking out projects left and right.
Thank you for all of the kind comments about Max. I know, he looks like a cat poodle, he looks adorable, sweet, pitiful, and sometimes evil. But he really is a total sweetheart. My mom tried to say that he is often aloof and a bit grumpy. Well, we’ve had nothing but purring and head butting and nuzzling and licking (yes, licking. He even crawled under the cover’s to lick Dan’s leg!) since I brought him here last Thursday night. Of course, I’m sure a lot of that is from feeling about a thousand times better since having all those mats cut off of him.
The other cats are basically okay with him now. Simon kind of stares, Kirin just watches, and Blueboy will give a little hiss every now and again, but that’s about it. I’m making sure to play with all of them equally, and give them all plenty of loving. Blueboy in particular, since Max likes sleeping between our two pillows, and until he arrived Blueboy always slept on top of Dan’s pillow. He’s still welcome there, obviously, and we leave the bedroom door open, but so far Blueboy hasn’t come back in.
Hopefully he’ll get over his little royal snit soon.
And… that’s all for this blog entry. I have work to get back to, Subway to eat as soon as Dan gets home with it, laundry to work on, and cookies to bake for Alyssa’s preschool Easter party!

PU2B has been a little quite for me lately. Only 2 or 3 posts a week is what I have been getting.
I wish I could have half of your workload. I did get a new client yesterday, so I’m pretty excited!
I LOVE PU2B and have 5 blogs with them. Usually I get a ton of assignments from them. This week? ONE! *cries*
I’d love to have all the writing projects you do – who do you get work from, if you don’t mind me asking?
Heh, my big sister is turning 30 this month. SHE is old.
I have never used Payu2blog, maybe I should try it out??
Hehe, I bet Max is very appreciative of no longer having matted hair and the fact that he gets to have more people to hang around.
He sounds adorable though!
