PayPerPost goes alpha

I saw a twitter post from IZEA about the new PayPerPost v4.0. I knew nothing about it, so I checked out some more twitters and the IZEA blog, and then requested an invite. And yesterday afternoon, I got one! :D With PPP v4.0 alpha, the premise of sponsored posting is the same. However, you can now specify how much you would like to be paid per freeform link (I recommend a minimum of $4.00), as well as how much you would like to be paid per word of a sponsored post (I chose $0.03 for my minimum).

Better still, there’s no battle for grabbing available opportunities. Much like other paid blogging companies, the v4.0 alpha version of PPP assigns opportunities to you. You’re then free to choose to do them, or ignore them.

This alpha is VERY new, and obviously still in its developmental stages. But so far, it’s looking quite promising, and I can see the freeform link option (my favorite kind of sponsored post, because it’s so easy to drop into just about any blog entry!) really working out quite well for advertisers and bloggers alike!

P.S. Google will approve, because it looks as though all links will be nofollow!

I freely admit this is a sponsored post. However, I was planning on writing about PayPerPost v4.0 alpha anyway. Now I have the added benefit of getting paid for it!

This sounds great. I let the guys over there know I was interested, so I’m hoping for my code soon.
