Dan claims to hate our pets, but the truth is, he likes them. And they adore him. See?
Leah especially adores him. In fact, if she is sitting with him or even next to him, and I call her to me, she won’t come. Pfft. Bitch. I am your mistress. Obey!
Not much is going on tonight. Dan is enjoying his new birthday present, the kids are going batty (they napped late, hence why they’re up late), and I have no motivation to do a third writing project that I really should try and get done tonight. What else is new?

Jeremy was the same way with Leo, because he’s a cat person. Yet, every time I look he’s always petting him or playing with him. He even lets him out in the morning and calls him up on the bed at night. I think husbands are must wired to lie about their dog affection.
That is awesome that Dan is enjoying his birthday present! That was a really thoughtful gift on your part. Leah looks like she’s gotten a lot bigger from that photo.

happy birthday to softie Dan! He loves the puppy and the kitties.
My little girl puppy loves her daddy, too. She thinks he is just soooo awesome, she follows him through the house flinching at his every move. When the two of us first moved in with him he was very adamant that she not get in the bed, that she learn her place etc. Now he scoops her up and takes her to bed to snuggle her. He gives her food off of his plate constantly and basically monopolizes snacks, he gives her so many I can’t reward her with them for the sake of her health

Men always seem to be that way with animals. XD My dad claimed to hate our pets but he loved them and they loved him just as much. XD
Men just have to claim they don’t love the pets but when I turn my head, Jani’s cooing with the bunnies and the cats.
