A quest for flip-flops

I love flip-flops. Until last winter I had amassed at least a dozen pairs of them. But I was tired of looking at the same styles since 2005, so I chucked all but two pairs. Now this little taste of summer has me itching for more. Unfortunately, shopping for flip-flops isn’t as easy as waltzing into any standard store and seeing what’s available, because big feet run in my family. :( My grandmother was a 12/13, my mom is a 12, and I wear an 11. (Come to think of it, I really should have kept all of those flip-flops I tossed last winter. I really want to kick myself with my size 11 feet now!) Occasionally I’ll find stores that carry flip-flops in 11s and even 12s, but in most cases I just wind up ordering online.

flip-flops Tonight I was checking out some paid blogging opportunities, and came across one for AMIshoes.com. They sell shoes, obviously. They had a section for sandals and wedges, and the snazzy white wedge flip-flops you see to your left immediately jumped out at me. They are by far my favorite pair, and I swear I would have ordered them on the spot… except that the biggest size available is a 10. Boo.

So, no flip-flops for Jenn. At least, not that particular pair. I’m in the process of checking around elsewhere to see what’s available, including in other sections of AMIshoes.com. I have to say, they have a LOT of shoes. 14 pages worth alone for the sandals. Every style and color you could imagine was listed. I can’t wait to see what’s in the heels and boots sections!
