Dan picked up my rings from the jeweler’s yesterday. He had my name engraved on my mother’s ring, and the band of the engagement ring wasn’t repaired, it was replaced with a much thicker and sturdier band. He also had my engagement ring cleaned, so it’s more shinier than ever! 
I’m happy. I felt quite naked without my engagement ring (it’s only been on my finger for the past eight years), and I was excited about wearing my mother’s ring. ♥

That’s great that you got them back. I love the shininess of rings that have just been cleaned. I’d feel naked without my wedding rings as well, and I’ve only had them for about 2 1/2 years!

My rings are all too big for me now that I’ve lost weight, but I’m afraid to have them resized because I don’t want to take them to the wrong place and have them get ruined or stolen. But I guess it’s better to take that chance than them flipping off my finger like they used to when I was working at Kohl’s.
