We made it! After a slightly later start (10:15am instead of the desired 9:30am) and a few pit stops, we made it down to Ocean City without incident by 2:30pm. We got checked in, dragged everything in and then hit the pool! The seasonally warmed pool, that is. It’s awesome. The water is just the perfect temperature — not too cold (I hate that initial shock!), not too warm.
Then we went down to the beach — a two minute walk, if that!
Then we went back in the pool.
Then we went out to dinner.
Then we came back to the motel room, settled in, and waited for the kids to fall asleep (heh, that didn’t take long!).
Now? I am SO ready for sleep myself. I’m exhausted, and I can’t wait to crash!
