However, each time the iPhone updates, Apple makes sure to include something in the update that re-locks the phone and in some cases, bricks unlocked iPhones so they won't work, so be very careful. My dad has an IPhone but they are on AT&T so it was easy for him to purchase it and get right to using...no unlocking required :P It sucks that AT&T is the only carrier "legally" allowed to have the phone right now but that may change...I hope it changes because I want one. I read an article not to long ago that Verizon Wireless MAY get rights to the IPhone sometime next year or the year after, not really sure if it was legit or not. Only reason I've heard that IPhone doesn't work on Verizon is because it's a completely different network signal or whatever that they use. Nice! I don't have the extra money to spend on an iphone or I would get one just to see if I could unlock it to work with Sprint. It's one of their deals this month and I am so tired of my crappy Palm Centro... I soo want an iphone but I use Sprint.
