Last month I purchased a yellow tank top (this one) from Old Navy. I even paid $13 extra to get it here in time for when we would be leaving for the beach. I know, quite dorky of me. Whatever. But it was my first ever YELLOW shirt, and I was excited. I was a bit hesitant about getting it, because I really liked the color, but wasn’t so sure how it would look ON ME.
Turns out? It looks fantastic. So fantastic, in fact, that I decided to purchase some yellow nail polish. Allyson recommended it, so I took her advice and picked up two different bottles of it tonight. One was Sally Hansen, but is more of a orangey type of yellow, while the NYC “Yellow Taxi Creme” is the exact shade of lemony yellow that I was looking for it.
I love it! Yay for yellow!
P.S. On a related note, I have finally deduced that dark and bright, bold and vibrant colors look good on me. Pastels and light colors look hideous.

I bought that same one from Sally’s and I did not like it. It was so light.
Cute nails. I don’t care to keep my fingernails polished, but my toes stay painted all the time, usually a blue or silver.
I agree that bold colors work for you. I tend to go for darker colors, like navy and gray.
That looks cool!! :D
Love the nail polish and I love those tank tops from Old Navy. I love Old Navy; they are the ONLY store that sells pants that will fit me in the waist and length because I’m on the shorter side and my waist is on the wider side. Old Navy rocks; I’m wearing a tank top and jeans from there right now!
