For a while there I was doing really good with blogging. I blogged every single day in July, and I was updating my other blogs frequently as well. Then August hit, and I flatlined. I’m still flatlining. Whatever insane amount of blogging energy I had is just gone. I’m just chugging through daily life, offline life. Online? Not so much. I do work, I catch up on feeds, I tweet, and then I load up jenn.nu and think about blogging, or putting together a new theme, but nothing productive happens.
Reading is taking up a big chunk of my time lately as well. I buzzed through The Constant Princess, The Other Boleyn Girl and The Boleyn Inheritance, and then turned around and ordered The Queen’s Fool and The Virgin’s Lover. Now I’m reading Divorced, Beheaded, Survived. Can you tell I’m on a Tudor kick?
I’ve also been busy with poop. Yes, poop. Ryan is having some bowel issues that is resulting in small bowel movements all damned day long. Blueboy got his ass up in the air over something and shit in our bed, Ryan’s bed and Alyssa’s bed. He hit our bed the most — four times, I think. The fourth was the most insulting/aggravating — I was checking Alyssa’s and Ryan’s beds and he did it in our bed then. And then Leah came down with some type of stomach bug early Monday morning. Even though she has been confined to the kitchen, I’ve still had plenty of messes to clean up from her exploding ass. *sigh*
So yes. I am SO sick of poop. I cannot begin to tell you the amount of laundry I have done lately. Or how many pounds of poop it seems like I have been coming into close contact with a daily basis. :xp:
Right now I am making my third attempt at installing OS x on my desktop. Our house’s wiring is stupid, so if the stars aren’t aligned just properly, running all of the AC units + the living room television + my desktop computer is enough to trip the breaker. Repeatedly. Gah. Good thing I have no data on either of my desktop’s hard drives to worry about. Equally good: surge protectors.
Can you believe I’m thinking ahead to Christmas already? I’m tired of scrambling for presents (or rather, money to buy presents) in December, so this year I am starting early dammit. I’ve taken care of two people so far: my brothers. My youngest brother (he’s going to be twelve this December!) is getting a PSP. I bought a used one off eBay for $70! It was just the PSP by itself, but I’m not going to pass up on such a great price, especially since it’s in new condition.
I can’t say what my other brother is getting, because he reads my blog.
I have an idea or two for Dan, and we’ve been throwing around ideas for his brothers and sisters. Then it’s just my mother, a few aunts and uncles on Dan’s side of the family and Jason, and we’re good to go! (Easier said than done, but I can hope, can’t I?)
This summer is going so quick… Alyssa and Ryan go back to preschool in exactly one month! I can’t wait. ;)
P.S. I have a tag for poop?! I have used that tag before?! Geez.

Wow, that’s a lot of poop! It’s crazy how a child and multiple pets would have a poop issue at the same time!
I really hope we can get our Christmas shopping started earlier than usual (as in, late November) this year.
.-= Kecia´s last blog ..So Forgetful… =-.
Cats are entirely too spiteful in my opinion, although I’m beginning to see with Colby he can be just as much of a butthead when he gets angry. I don’t see any harm in early planning. It makes the actual season less stressful and who needs any more of that anyways?
.-= Amanda´s last blog ..I’m back =-.
Whoa nasty, loads of poop, I’ve never had a problem with cats before..
The Other Boleyn Girl I love this book so much, have you seen the film?
.-= Damita´s last blog ..Life insurance leads =-.
Sorry for all the poop in your life. Hopefully everyone’s bowels shape up soon!
Congrats for early shopping. I will begin my Christmas shopping on September 19th, as it is the first weekend in a long time I will be without the kids. I figured the earlier I started, the less stressed I would be come December. One can hope, no?

omg so much poop… i think i would probably run screaming for the hills lol
i think you may have outbid my brother on that psp XD he was bidding on a similar one and said it was a low price but got outbid :p i hope your brother enjoys it though! lucky kid! now i’m thinking about xmas…
.-= Nimil´s last blog ..well that was a waste of time! =-.
Wow I am sorry about the cats! Early Christmas shopping is good. Then you dont have to fight for stuff!!!
Wow, that sounds like an ornery cat to do that. Fortunately, my cat is well behaved and has never peed or pooped anywhere other than her litter box. My dog occasionally goes on the carpet, but that’s certainly better than in my bed.
