Next time I’ll stick with cats

It seems like at least once a month Leah finds something new to do that is utterly disgusting. Earlier this evening she managed to eat a few tablespoons worth of butter. Surprise surprise, she puked it up about an hour or so later. And before I realized (she threw up on the carpet, of course*, and did so silently) what she had done, she was licking it back up like it was the most delicious thing ever. *gag*

Dogs are smelly and gross. I’ve never realized that so much as I have in the past few months. But I still love Leah, so I deal. ;)

Chuck E. Cheese wound up not being that bad. I was originally going to title this blog entry Chuck E. Cheese: the good, the bad, the ugly, but I couldn’t really think of anything negative to say. The non-ghetto Chuck E. Cheese was awesome. It was clean, it was spacious, the employees were very nice, and it was dead. We got there around 4:00pm, and there were maybe three other kids and their parents in the whole place. When we left around 6:30pm the place had filled up with maybe fifteen kids. If this particular Chuck E. Cheese wasn’t an hour away, I’d seriously considering going there more often!

I guess the only “downer” of such a place is 1) the bland food and 2) the grubbiness that kids acquire from running around and touching everyone and everything. I gave Alyssa and Ryan sanitizer in the car (I took them in the bathroom to wash their hands, but of course they mauled fifty more grubby surfaces between the bathroom and the parking lot), and as soon as we got home I stripped their clothes off of them and dumped them both in the tub. Luckily, they like baths, so they were more than happy to oblige.

Right now I’m doing my nails and watching Judge Judy. I lead such an exciting life.

* You know what I can’t stand about our cats? All of them? They always yack their hairballs on the carpet. If they happen to be in the kitchen or bathroom when the yack dance begins, they’ll MOVE TO A CARPETED AREA. Without fail. I’ll physically remove them from a carpeted area and they’ll try to go right back to it. Assholes.

P.S. Sorry for all of the talk of vomit in this blog entry.

P.P.S. I’m too lazy to rotate the photo in the previous entry, so you’ll have to bear with me and do the whole head-tilt thing if you’re interested in viewing the photo at a proper angle. ;)

I can’t wait ’til my baby loves taking a bath :P

We don’t have any carpet in the house anymore. If something gross is happening, it’s on the carpet. ugh.

  2. There’s only one Chuck E Cheese where I live, and it’s NEVER busy. I’ve only been there once and I barely remember it. It has a reputation for being not-so-clean, too. Tbh, I don’t even know if it’s still open. I honestly don’t know how to makes money, though – if it is lol!

Ew, cat hairballs! I think it’s quite funny to watch a cat puke up a hairball, though. It reminds me of Puss-In-Boots off of Shrek! :D

  3. I find cats much more ew worthy . I think this is just because I find litter boxes incredibly disgusting and much prefer to let my dog do his business outdoors. Leah seems to have a weak stomach. Colby can munch on anything and be fine (except for mik, that gives him the runs). I’m a dog owner ’til… forever. I don’t think I will EVER own a cat. They’re stuck up in comparison to the neediness of dogs. I’m biased though, I can’t even pee without Colby following me. He’s currently sleeping on the couch next to me. Separation anxiety ftw.

Oh the joys of dogs! Ha ha, funny enough I have never had that problem with my three cats, maybe they learn it :P Oh I do hope not!

Yeah, dogs are gross! Penelope used to make a habit of eating her poop when she was a puppy, and consequently threw up all the time. If we didn’t get it in time, she’d try to re-digest it. Ugh. Dogs will eat practically anything, which is why you have to make sure to keep edibles out of reach!

Lovely layout. Although, may I suggest that the blend on top is a bit shorter, as it cuts off on top of the tree.

Dogs, love them, or hate them. :)

They opened a new Chuck E Cheese near our area too, its small but its bigger than the one we usually go to (I love their salad bar). My boyfriend is a total kid, I have OCD so I make him wash his hands before we go back to the car but of course, he has to touch at least five more things from the bathroom to the car lol!

I’ve had my cat for 5 years, I’ve seen maybe one hair ball on our carpet. But I’ve never actually seen her cough one up. I personally like dogs a lot better. My dog can be a pain but I just love how they care if you’re down where as cats just kinda stare at you wondering why YOU’RE not petting THEM lol.

shadow was never too awful bad to get hairballs on the carpet, but sometimes he’d be ready to puke on the carpet and i’d have to pick him up and move him.

duke was always trying to lick up not only his puke but shadows too lol. so ew.

i miss having those fur brains in the house, and having duke in general. ugh! can’t believe it has been so long

Dogs can be quite repugnant, but my goodness the ones we have make up for it with affection! They’re both curled up with me on the couch now, so warm. I almost can’t wait for winter nights (because the summer nights between the two of them get a little muggy : P).

Neither cat is anywhere to be found, of course. The kitties of the house are so not cuddlers : P

Thanks for the tips on C. E. C. coupons- I downloaded some so hopefully we can take the boys next week. They always get so excited : P

My 3 yr old Corgi does the same thing, after she barfs she trys to lick it up even if it is only bile. I do agree some dogs do the most disgusting things, like for another example; role over on nasty things (such as dead worms), drag their butt on the floor and etc. But I still like my dog even though she is a pain in the rear and frustrates me at times.

And another thing that bugs the crap out of me when they (cat or dog) barf, they always (usually it is my cat that does it with hairballs ) do it on the carpet. If they’re going to do it at all, why not on the tile flooring or somewhere where it is easy to clean up??
