I got thrown out of bed shortly before 9:00am this morning, but it was well worth it. 
Dan surprised me with a trip to Philadelphia. After Jason arrived to take care of Alyssa and Ryan, and I had showered and dressed, we hit the road, stopped for breakfast, and then went down to the Mutter’s museum. Then we went to Nifty Fifty’s for an early dinner, and then we saw The Time Traveler’s Wife. I read the book last month, and I absolutely loved it. The movie was great, though as most inspired-by-the-book movies go, it differed somewhat from the book. But it was great. Rather moving, in fact — for both of us. Now I’m tempted to read the book again!
I’m tired. It’s been a long day, and I’m looking forward to going to bed, even though it’s not quite midnight!

Wow, sounds like you had an awesome day! I want to read the book before I see the movie, because if I see the movie first I won’t read the book. I wind up getting board with the book for some reason when I do that. :/

I really want to read/watch The Time Traveler’s Wife, would you recommend watching the movie first, or reading the book?
