jenn.nu has a new theme! Pink, gray and black is the best combination ever, and since I haven’t used it in a while (a long while), I decided to go back to it. I also wanted a theme that was more “personal” in the sense of using my photographs, hence the rotating header, and the inclusion of my most recent Flickr photos in the sidebar. I hope you guys like it… it really evolved from nothing and quite quickly, but I’m still very happy with how it turned out! (Also, high contrast B&W photographs rock!)
The weekend has been awesomely quiet. I finished up with all of my work and emptied out my inbox as of 2:00am Saturday morning, which left me FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE… to read and catch up on True Blood (I’m anxious awaiting for the season finale to be, ahem, available…) and fold some laundry (finally — there was six loads piled up in my desk chair) and play with the kidlets.
Speaking of the kidlets! Alyssa and Ryan head back to preschool tomorrow! They had their orientations on Wednesday (Ryan) and Friday (Alyssa), during which they did a little craft activity (I assembled a frog while Ryan wandered off to the blocks; Alyssa assembled a hot air balloon while I filled out paperwork) and took a tour of their classroom, and while us parents signed our lives away and coughed up contact information and medical information and all that jazz.
Alyssa is excited, but I think Ryan is even MORE excited. All he’s been going on about today is going to pwee-cool and to the pway-gound. His chatter was too adorable to not be documented:
I made sure they had dinner early and were in bed by 8:30pm. Their bags are packed and clothes are laid out, so all that’s left to do is get them up by 8:30am, get them dressed, fed and out the door. I love the fact that the preschool is about a quarter of a mile down the road. I think it takes us more time to get INTO the car (I look forward to the time when I can retire the car seats!) than it does to drive to the school, hah!

OH MY I love it! I was on here a little while ago and it had the font and the old layout and I was like wtf is she doing there, but realized there was more to come hopefully. And voila here it is!

Ahhh, I love the new theme! I must say, I went to this entry and all I saw where these HUGE eyes at the top and *my* eyes went O_O. Leah’s so cute though, but her eyes look wayyyyy too big for her head.
And yay for Ryan for being so excited for preschool :D He’s so adorable! When did he get so big?!
