So I’m giving MyLife a whirl. It’s one of those sites that looks as though it returns the results of many other sites. Just as HelloTxt.com and Ping.fm allow you to quickly update a multitude of social networks all at once, and Lifestream.fm and Identi.ca allow others to keep tabs on your multiple accounts all at once, MyLife.com allows you to do just one search for an individual and find multiple results.

MyLife.com is one of those websites that offers fairly limited results if you’re a non-paying member. To be perfectly honest I don’t like sites like that, because the non-paying option doesn’t really provide you with enough detail to make it worth registering for. When I searched for a friend, the only results I got were what I put in, plus the state she resides in. Okay, wow, really? That’s the best you could do? I could find that in the phonebook, and without the hassle of registering.

But I guess the premium option would offer a lot more. MyLife.com supposedly provides very detailed results, including full names, addresses, phone numbers, as well as:

The premium subscription options do make MyLife seem rather appealing. If I ever really wanted to get serious about searching for old friends, I might consider paying for one.
