Cooking School Weekend at the Branson Convention Center

Who likes food and wine? I’m into food (duh, lol), but not so much the wine… Anyway, if you love gourmet, delicious meals and excellent tasting wine to go along with them, you might be interested in the Cooking School Weekend event the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel will be hosting on the weekend of October 16th and 17th.

What’s going on at the weekend? Well, guests at the event will be treated to a wine tasting reception. That will be followed the next morning by a cooking demonstration executed by the hotel’s chef, Nathan Read. There you’ll be able to learn how to cook the appetizers that were served with the wine tasting on Friday evening. Speaking of appetizers, one of the items on the menu is what I had for dinner last night — Smoked Rainbow Trout. It was AMAZING.
On Saturday evening a four-course dinner paired with wines will be served, and on Sunday morning another cooking demonstration will take place to teach participants how to create a meal similar to what was served on Saturday night.

Interested? Attending the Cooking School Weekend costs $398 for two people. And when you’re not participating in enjoying delicious food and wine or learning how to prepare it, you can take advantage of being within waling distance of shops, boutiques, a special river walk, great restaurants and more.
