After I blogged this morning, I finished up a few more articles for Demand Studios, and then it was time to get Alyssa and Ryan from preschool. I treated them to lunch, and then we went to the playground. It was a gorgeous day, a very fall-like, blustery day. It was just a tad too windy for my liking (60mph winds!?!), but cool and sunny at the same time. The kids had a blast running around the playground, and when I wasn’t pushing them on the swings or taking a few photos, I read a few pages from the book I’m currently reading — NurtureShock. I won a hardcover copy of it from a giveaway that Joana had a few weeks ago.
We left the playground around 2:30pm, and after dropping off a car seat at the local community center and picking up a london broil for dinner (which I wound up not making because Dan came home with pizza), the three of us came home and lounged for a bit. Dan got home not long after that, I did some more work, and then ran out to meet Jason at Target for some early Christmas shopping for the kids (I swear there are times when he spoils them more than I do!). Then we headed over to Panera Bread. I had a cup of broccoli cheddar soup and a piece of whole grain bread, and we yapped away about this and that while surfing our laptops until the place closed at 9.
Now I’m home and TIRED. I finished up an article that I started on at Panera and submitted it. Now I’m crossing my fingers and hoping that the articles I submitted are all approved before 3:00am EST, as that is the cut-off for Friday paydays!
10:30pm… I think I’m going to bed soon!
P.S. Alyssa is very excited for Halloween!

I wish it wasn’t so windy or chilly here as well. Alyssa’s Halloween costume is adorable, aww.
Sometimes I wish we would celebrate Halloween too, Alyssa looks just so cute in her costume :D
Alyssa looks adorable. :D
I’m loving the Demand Studios, so far. Only $15 this Friday, though. I waited until my first article was approved before doing more. It’s my first “real” writing job, and I got nervous, wanted to make sure I was doing things right first.
We have had rain for the past 5 days. It’s been nonstop with the exception of about an hour yesterday. I managed to squeeze a short walk in with the baby but that’s it. We’ve been cooped up in the house otherwise. I’d like to get to the park with her a few times before the snow hits. heh.
Also, I’m sure you’ve heard this before but, you have two really cute kids. Alyssa looks like she’s loving her costume
That’s an ADORABLE picture!
