I keep reading a lot about Charter’s digital cable and broadband services, and I swear if they offered service in our area, I’d snap it up. I’m really not too impressed with Comcast’s services, and it chafes to know that I’m stuck with them because they’re such a freakin’ monopoly. But I must admit, the one thing I do like about them is their OnDemand services. Oh, wait… Charter offers that too!
I love On Demand services. Between that and the DVR, I’m good to go as far as recording my favorite shows throughout the day and night, and then watching them whenever I get the chance to. Sadly, I often go weeks without watching much of anything on TV. Then I have to, because at that point the DVR is exploding with two weeks worth of Judge Judy, I Want to Save Your Life and Parking Wars.
Alyssa and Ryan love On Demand, too (learn more at charter.net/ondemand). They’re all too happy to bring me the remote and ask for Wow Wow Wubbzy, Wonder Pets or Spongebob. Alyssa can’t read yet, but she knows all her letters and has learned to recognize certain words, so she’s gotten proficient with popping on episodes of Spongebob and Tom and Jerry.
Do any of you guys have Charter? What do you think of their services?
P.S. Don’t forget to get updates and fun extras on Charter’s Facebook page!

I hate Charter.
We switched from DirecTV to Charter and I’m miserable. Seriously miserable! We used to DVR everything on DirecTV, which was awesome. But now we have on demand, which is alright I suppose. *shrug* It’s a catch 22!
