While MyLife is a service that requires you to pay for premium content (detailed results, specific links, etc.), it does offer some basic free info that can be helpful if you’re looking for someone. You would think that with the evolution of the internet and the fact that it is so integrated into our daily lives that you could find just about anybody online. Well, I know firsthand that that isn’t always the case! I had a friend, Gerald, that I met while I was working at Burger King in 2001. We lost touch in 2002, and I saw him once in 2004 (while I was pregnant with Alyssa, in fact), but I haven’t seen him since. He was a really cool guy, and I’d love to know how he is doing. I know his first name, last name, age, the city he resided in as of 2004, and his husband’s name. You’d think that would be enough to track him down, but apparently not. Even MyLife doesn’t turn up any results.
Actually, I take that back. Before MyLife didn’t turn up any results. This morning it did, and the age, cities lived in and possible family members all match up with the info I know about Gerald. Whoo! Now, the one thing I don’t like is that in order to view the detailed results, I have to pay. A yearly membership is $1.99/month, but still… that measly $2 could turn into a surprise bill for $20 or $30 or more. Been there, done that.
In any case, MyLife seems to be legit, and it does turn up information on various people (I’ve tested out other names). It can save you the hassle of combing the internet manually for info on long-lost friends, long distance relatives, acquaintances, co-workers, teachers, etc.

As the domain name suggests, my name is Jenn, and I own this blog. I'm 26 years old and married to my one true ♥, Daniel. And while I have two kids (Alyssa is five, and Ryan is three), you won't find "mommy" in my username or email address, nor does my blog revolve around them. I'm a mother, but most importantly I am me, with a passion for love, blogging, reading, and photography. I'm also a busy freelance writer, web designer & SEO goddess.
