I’ve got something really big coming up. I’ve talked about it here and there over the past few days, but I still want to keep things on the down low until the Really Big Something has actually happened. Grr. Don’t you hate that? You want to talk about something, but yet you don’t. So then you’re squirming and chomping at the bit with impatience, anxiety and excitement.
It’s funny. For the past few weeks I’ve been bitching left and right about time going too slowly, that the Day of the Really Big Something would never get here. Now it’s less than ten hours from happening, and suddenly I have twenty billion things I’d like to get done first. Not least of which is the sudden influx of work that a few companies heaped on me (thanks guys! Just in time for the Black Friday shopping I won’t be doing, because there’s no way in hell I’m venturing out that day.).
And speaking of Black Friday… I’m so happy! Dan and I figured out the rest of our Christmas shopping list. Now we just need to get the moolah together to buy everything, but still, determining what we’re getting for everyone is always half the battle, so having it all figured out is well worth rejoicing over!

I will be thinking of you and you better txt me! I’m awake like all the time now lol so if you just need to talk, I’ll be available!
@Sarah: I promise I will!
I’m so lost.
I hate secrets and cannot wait for you to spill the news!
I wish you good luck with your adventure!
I don’t know if it’s gastric bypass, I feel like Jenn may have mentioned that more? If I’m totally off and that is it, Jenn I’m so excited for you! Whatever it is, I’m so excited that you’re this excited!
Well she is def. having surgery .. read her post here: http://www.blogging-girl.com/2009/11/17/brief-hiatus/
Let’s see, she has been losing weight, been going to the dr. for blood work alot, etc.
I say she is having weight loss surgery like gastric or the lap band. You have to lose a certain amount before you can have that surgery.
I really hope she isn’t because if she was able to lose 40lbs on her own, she could lose the rest. Why go the easy way out? There is too many dangers associated with that.
Good luck. (I saw you was already in surgery) I hope this makes you happy! I can’t wait to see what it does for you and how fast.
secrets secrets are no fun
you already know what you’re getting everyone?? lucky! I spend forever picking out gifts because I feel like if I spend my money, it has to be something perfect. Of course, then my mom doesn’t use it anyway and it winds up under a coffee table for ten years or worse, lost. Yes, she lost the pedometer I got her two years ago. Didn’t use it once.
This year I’m buying my parents a new refrigerator because they’ve needed a new one for the past, oh 8 years or so. It leaks and it’s literally falling apart. Probably an energy sucker too. Expensive, but they bought me a wedding, so I kinda owe them.
I’m intrigued, like really
Obv. I know your secret now and I wish you the best of luck!
i already told you on twitter i think that this is an awesome thing for you
<3 nichole
Jenn I am so happy for you. To the Sarah with the negative comments, you need to stop being so negative, ovbiously she is trying to be healthy for her kids and I am sure she thought everything through before she made her desicion so your negativity is not needed. Didnt your momma teach you that if you have nothing nice to say then dont say anything at all.
Yikes!! Good luck to you whatever it is!! I hope everything goes well and wow-blog girlie blog!!
Congrats – I’m just curious why you selected that route. You was doing so good with losing weight on your own. I’m overweight as well but I couldn’t see myself doing that surgery. It’s really risky and can mess you up big time. A close friend of mine had that done and she has had a variety of complications. A friend of my family lost her life due to it as well — and her death was due to complications a year after surgery. I just hope you really thought this through. Anyways, good luck and I hope everything works out in your favor.
