That's nuts! Then again, it sounds like a good idea in some ways, but I wouldn't be too scared to try little bits of things out of curiosity. They made me eat solid foods before I left the hospital and I'm here to tell you that meat is scary, but other stuff is not so much. Plus, hello who doesn't at least taste pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving? Anyway I think the whole things tasting off is from anesthesia and to me everything always tastes like eggs, every time I have surgery. My father in law said everything was too salty for months after heart surgery. It's kinda hilarious really, to see what is odd tasting. Wow, weeks 5 and 6? That’s nuts! Then again, it sounds like a good idea in some ways, but I wouldn’t be too scared to try little bits of things out of curiosity.
