Baa.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way. All opinions are 100% mine.

I own exactly two articles of clothing that are made out of wool, and both are coats. Wool is an interesting material, but I’m kind of leery of it ever since my mother’s second husband shrunk a wool sweater of mine by throwing it in the dryer. This happened when I was ten, and yes, it made that much of an impression on me. ;) I’m also a bit leery of it because of my own experience with cleaning wool — from what I’ve experienced, you can’t. So I have to be very careful with my wool coats, or go through the hassle of running them to the dry cleaners several times a season.

Right now I’m looking over Ramblers Way, and it looks like there are more options to wool than I originally thought possible. For instance, according to the people at Ramblers Way, it’s machine washable. Say what? And some types of wool can apparently be made into shirts, tank tops and even camisoles. Wow. I won’t lie… I’m a bit interested now!

So according to the information page at ramblersway.com, the worsted wool they use is wearable, durable, and most importantly washable. That’s all very interesting, and it does make me re-imagine wool and think that it could actually be a practical material for clothing. Especially since it’s washable. That stands out to me. I hate dry-clean-only clothing, so I don’t buy any of it. The exception are the two coats, and that’s only because Dan bought them for me. ♥

What are your thoughts on wool clothing? Do you have any?
