Wow, 2010. That’s awkward to write. After ten years of doing 2-0-0, it’s going to take some adjusting to get used to doing 2-0-1. Anyway, Happy New Year everyone! It’s been 2010 here on the east coast for a little over half an hour now. Dan and I celebrated New Year’s Eve with Jason. We even let the kids stay up, and Jason gave them sparkling grape juice to enjoy at midnight. I had a sip of some kind of bubbly wine, but not anymore than that since carbonation & stomach pouches are a big no-no. Danielle and Matt would have been here too, but snow kept them in New Jersey for the holiday, boo. And my mom stayed home as well, on account of packed down snow creating an icy mess in her driveway and along the road she lives on.
We never used to have little parties on New Year’s Eve. This whole food/snacks/alcohol thing is fairly new. We used to simply ring in the new year with sex. ;) Although each year, without fail, my mom would call right around 12:02am and interrupt us. It got to the point where we knew to expect her call, so we wouldn’t get too into things, lol.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful & safe New Year!!!

Happy New Year hun
