I love the holidays, but… I’m looking forward to life getting back to normal. Normally I’ve got a pretty good routine going down, though sometimes it’s a bit hectic to remember the various events and days off Alyssa in her preschool class and Ryan in his two preschool classes, plus the various visits from Ryan’s therapists and supervising therapists that usually happen once or twice each month. But with the holidays, everything has gone to shit: my work routine, the kids’ sleeping routine, even when we eat dinner each night. Ugh. Are we “normal” for falling completely apart during the holiday breaks?
I really need to get my ass in gear and get back on track with both Demand Studios and Textbroker. I really like Textbroker, because despite the lower payments for articles, the requirements are a lot less strict. Demand Studios is about high quality writing that requires strict writing styles and references out the wazoo, while Textbroker is more focused on SEO writing, which I am damn good at (I should be, seeing as how I’ve been doing it nearly full-time for almost three years!).
But right now I don’t feel like doing squat. I had a bit of alcohol last night, in the form of three or so ounces worth of a white gummi bear. It was delicious, and I drank just enough to get a nice buzz going on. What’s funny is I sort of staggered off to watch House (the last episode of season 2, which, by the way, was freakin’ awesome — total Jacob’s Ladder type of thing going on there!) and go to sleep, and a little bit later Dan came in to go to bed. He’s all, “Wow I’m drunk, wow I’m tired, I need to sleep NOW!”, and next thing I know we’re ringing in the new year just like we used to. Rawr.
Speaking of sex, according to Bedpost, we got it on 113 times in 2009. I know I missed at least a handful of occasions, but still, 113 times averages out to once every 3-4 days. Go us! ;)
So anyway, now that I’ve blogged up a storm in the last day or so, I’m going to jump into some article writing. Bills never take off for the holidays.

I think the holidays take their toll on everyone’s schedules, so I hear you when you say you’re struggling!! I can’t wait to get back into my university routine so I have some stability
Take care x

Gah! I’m so jealous *cries* Although it’s getting better I’m still lucky to get once every few weeks. Must try out this nifty bedpost contraption so I can see just how much I’m not having it lol
