I like soup

The Most Amazing Soup Ever. (by Jenn ?)

You’re looking at one of the best soups I have ever tried. And luckily for me, my friend Jason made it, so I have at least six meals worth of it stored in my fridge. It’s a creamy tomato soup with a block of pepperjack cheese thrown in. It’s also made with cream cheese, which means even more cheesy (and protein) goodness for me! This stuff is heavenly. And soup always stays down for me (I guess it’s harder for air to make its way into dense liquids), so that’s a nice little bonus.

In other news, I took down all of the Christmas tree decorations and general Christmas decor this evening, and Dan hauled the tree outside tonight. I had a vacuum bag worth of pine needles to sweep up, and probably another half-bag worth to vacuum up, but I’m sure I missed several thousand or so, and so they’ll be turning up randomly throughout the year. Goodbye Christmas… now I’m getting excited for Valentine’s Day! ♥

  1. That soup looks delicious. Any chance you might post the recipe (if you managed to snag it)?

  2. I love soup too. Usually of the Italian variety, and this reminds me of my all time favorite looks wise. I’m not a cream cheese fan though, but this looks like it should be eaten with a tortilla or some chips!! And pepperjack cheese? Don’t get me started on it’s scrumptious goodness.

  3. I’d love to get the recipe.
Soup is so easy to eat and you can eat/drink it on the go. And it lasts if you make a big ol pot of it. I am def gonna be eating more soup in this year.

Hey there Jenn! I use to read you a while ago and I’m not sure why I ever stopped but I’m back to reading you again. I’m so glad too because I’ve fallen in love with you and your family all over again and it’s so great. I remember how much I loved your blog! Thanks!

  5. Looks absolutely delicious :D I love soup, it’s the best. There’s a couple tomato and potato recipes I want to try out. Any chance your friend wants to give up the one for that? :P

That looks delicious. Seriously, try to get that recipe and post it here. Being a poor college student, soups are excellent on the budget, quick to eat, and they only get better the longer they sit!

Ooo me too. I used to eat soup as lunch EVERY.DAY. (before I got fat… maybe I should try that again? LOL) but seriously! Veggie soups, bean soups, creamy soups, chowders. You name it, I heart it.

  9. I can’t wait for Valentine’s Day either. Its gonna be a hoot to celebrate it with my boyfriend. I hope you and your family have a great Valentine’s when it comes around.
Gee that soup looks really good, I might just try to make it myself.

Oh my gosh, that soup looks heavenly. RECIPE, PLZ? :P And I know what you mean about the tree needles. We took down our tree a week ago (Jeremiah is a scrooge) and I’m still finding them. Riiidiculoussss!

  11. That soup looks absolutely delicious! Would be more than happy if you could post a recipe.

We took down all of our decorations last week and despite my love of all things Christmas, I am happy to have my house back again.

Yes, please, would you post the recipe if you can? I would love to try this. I’ll google and see if I can come up with something, but I’d love to know the original. Thanks much {:-)
