My Kia Spectra needed a new windshield. Apparently the one that was in it was an aftermarket one (really? What happened to the original, factory-installed one? Now I’m tempted to buy a CarFax history report to see what other secrets my precious car is harboring!), and so the adhesive never bonded correctly to begin with. So $248.99 and four hours later, my car has a brand new windshield with a lifetime guarantee on it.
I’ve been wandering around the interwebs for the past few hours without doing much of anything. I took care of some necessary paperwork for Eden Fantasys, since I plan on doing text and video reviews for a variety of their products (free sex toys + gift card compensation in exchange for running my mouth about my experiences with sex toys? That’s definitely a CAN DO, BOSS!), and I called Comcast and arranged to have their digital voice service added to our cable package. 2010 is all about lowering and consolidating bills, so Vonage had to go, since it was more expensive and a separate bill to worry about. I also called our lawyer to reassure both myself and Dan of some BS that our car loan lender is trying to pull, so we both feel a lot better.
Right now I’m still battling the urge to vomit. I should just go and get it over with, but I’d much rather tough it out and wait for the food to settle down and digest, especially since my nails are wet. This is the second time I’ve gotten sick after three days of doing great. I got sick very early this morning, around 2:00am, but that was my own fault — I tried laying down to soon after eating. Oops.
Tonight I’ll probably make another Panera Bread run. I love indulging in the interruption-free environment and getting large quantities of writing accomplished within just a few hours.

Glad to hear that your 2010 is off to such a good start!
Writing for Eden Fantasys sounds like an awesome job…the perks are wonderful ;)
Ick, Windshields suck to repair. My mom got her vehicle with it broken, repaired it, and my dad while working on it while drunk managed to hit it again with a hammer. Genius yes? I hope you get shit figured out with the lender soon.
