Hello! I'm Jenn. I'm 27, wife to an awesome guy named Daniel, and mother to two really awesome kids named Alyssa (7) and Ryan (5). I work from home full-time (and then some), and I dream in CSS, HTML, and SEO. I heart anything glittery. And yes, my hair really is pinkpurple back to pink. ♥ More?

On November 18th, 2009 I had gastric bypass surgery. It was the best gift I could ever give myself.

You make a very good point! I used to use WordPress when I had my own domain. I must say it takes a lot longer to get used to than other blogging sites (especially when it comes to coding layouts), but I still loved it.
I would switch back but I’ve been on blogspot for almost a year now. Maybe if I were to buy another domain, than I would switch back. But I really did like wordpress.
WordPress is the $hit I love it to death. I just wish I had more creativity on a daily basis to actually make custom designs again. I usually get halfway through one and get bored It’s a horrid habit!
I think you mean 2004, not 2005. I switched to WP from b2 in May 2004 and I don’t see you using an outdated blogging platform for a year and I know that starting in April 2004 b2 stopped offering updates to b2 and pointed people towards WP.
Also, I’ve been a blogging geek for entirely too long. heh
WordPress is the SHIT. I can’t make layouts, but there are literally thousands of free ones online. There are about a million plugins, and it is so easy to use. I don’t think it’s going anywhere soon – it will likely just continue to grow and evolve as peoples’ needs grow and change.
I went from no content management system at all to wordpress, so thankfully I didn’t have to really get used to something different. I love wordpress. Great vblog!
I remember hearing about wordpress awhile back in my LiveJournal days but I was in high school and I didnt know anything about hosted domains or domains at all so I skipped it. Fast forward to last year, after seeing blogging domains, I was curious to know how they did it. I know you cant do it with say blogger or xanga. And I figured out it was wordpress. So I bought my first domain that was dedicated to making it a blog (which is the one I have now).
I love WordPress but at the same time, I dont because I dont understand it that much just yet so I cant do what everyone else can make it do.
Currently I’m having trouble with making my own theme. Coding WordPress to me is so hard cause there’s so many different pages to work with! Goodness lol. And also understanding what plug ins are used for. But I do enjoy blogging with WordPress over all the other blogging things I’ve used.

I love WordPress myself.
I’ve been using it since it started and I just have my blog on wordpress and it’s been pretty good.
B2 was my other option too
.. funny enough.
